Cthulhu calling: intro.

I'm a great fan of the works by the hand of H.P. Lovecraft. Particularly those that mention the Ancient Gods and Cthulhu. Here I will post my ideas and thoughts about the material.

Many people have been inspired by the horror stories of Lovecraft. A great deal of writers have written in some form about Cthulhu. Even at the time of its publication in Weird Tales, "The call of Cthulhu" has been an inspiration to several writers, who bundled their forces in what is now known as the Cthulhu mythos. Among them are Robert E. Howard, creator of Conan the Barbarian, August Derleth, Clark Ashton Smith, H.P. Lovecraft himself, and many others...

The idea of a creature lying in the sea that can awaken any moment to bring our doom, was also an inspiration to many other artists. Metallica for instance have a number of songs that were inspired by the Cthulhu mythos: e.g. Call of Ktulu, The Thing That Should Not Be, among others,...

My goal is to write a few fiction stories, related to the Cthulhu mythos. Besides that I will give you some information about all things Cthulhu: Cthulhu himself, H.P.Lovecraft, Dagon, etc...
